Sun Awareness Week

1st May – 7th May

Sun awareness week is a national campaign for skin cancer. BAD – British Association of Dermatologists want to help spread awareness of skin cancer. The negative impact too much sun or UV rays/tanning appliances can have on your skin and how you can protect yourself and check yourself

Over exposure to Sun and UV rays can have a major negative impact on your skin and can eventually cause skin damage or cancers such as non-melanoma and melanoma

Applying suncream regularly throughout the day, taking breaks in the shade and covering up using light coloured and light textured clothing and or wearing sun hats can protect you further from extreme rays.
